What is natural and appropiate

                                             Amsterdam, 28 May 2012.

Sex can create complex interactions between the sexes in the human species, at times more than is warranted or expected. If we remove the religious rediculous compunction brought forth by the Padre in the church's mass on sunday but otherwise spending most of his time on his mad phedofilian hunt for under-aged altar-boys, maybe the ultra-moralist ego-centred views on the subject, sexual exploitation of the starving masses inhabiting the garbage belts of this mud ball, get rid inmediately of coercive sexual relationships...what we are left with will be natural and appropiate...

This is what Vicky from Down-Under tells me while we are at Cafe De Twee Prinsen on the Amsterdam Prinsengracht, enjoying two pints of Heineken and each other's company. And where I made this sketch of her...

Thanks for the beer and your educational point of view on the matter of the Adults Only Game...

The musings of a male mind

                                    Amsterdam, 27 May 2012.

Whilst Asian women can be demure and seemingly subservient, Muslimas cover their hair and sometimes even their faces, and western blonds glamouring for feminist rights in the extreme already from their teenage years back on campus but  females of all races depending on their men folk to support them in the upbring of their cherished offspring...

Maybe pushing a potential husband and father to be to get a good job at a reputedly financial secure company with plenty of possiblities for a couple of steps up on the hierarchial ladder...

Yeah, isn't a wife always pushing her man towards success, admonishing him in case he might fail, and therefore also failing to fulfill his role to support the family adequately...

Me, I have always silently negotiated my exit when my many love affairs got anywhere near sacred matrimony, just wanting my freedom, my bachelor's existence, selling my funny games at the world famous Anne Frank House and sketch my customers, fill my scrapbooks and the walls of my old crappy house here in Amsterdam West with worthless artwork...

An easy and non-responsible male life that can be dedicated to booze, good Red Wine, watching sports on my new flatscreen telly and all the other typical male things women so often frown upon...

Sorry ladies but no pun was intended here, just the musings of a lonely male mind fastly approaching middle age.

two more beauties at the Anne Frank House

                                      Amsterdam, 23 May 2012.

"Pourqoui Toutes Les Têtes De Femmes?", Emy from Paris wants to know while paging through my sketchbook...so I tell her "C'est Une Obsession M'Amour", the truth really is I consider myself a connaiseur on the field of femininity or so I like to think but she doesn't need to know that but at least I got her attention and her willingness to pose for this portrait...

Her little bit of world knowledge "La Vie Est Comment Le Cirque Main Plus Dure" I take for granted and just add to the sketch...

Nelly from the deep south of Holland, a place called Eindhoven, doesn't bother to tell me her world opinions, just patiently waiting for her portrait, not moving a inch though she did tell me she would pose for my love...whatever that is supposed to mean.

Maybe no games sold today sxitting here in front of the world famous Anne Frank House, sunny weather and all that, Pas D'Argent for a Kam Yin take-away but at least two more beauties for my sketchbook, the food money will have to come out of my savings I guess

Painting Kerry in my house

                                                Amsterdam, 21 May 2012.

I am back in the trance, back in my little one-man Buddhist prayer cell painting Kerry from a sketch I made earlier in my scrapbook, when she enters the back room of my house, my Atelier, the place where I sleep but also partake in my most cherished hobbies, working out like my daily push-ups and sit-ups, where I wrestle with my emotions which are mostly centred around the opposite sex....typical male chauvinistic perceptions that slowly alter with the passing of years, for the good I might hope...but also where I paint most evenings when I am alone and in in my trance...

"Are you in your trance now, Hans?" this dark skinned beauty from The Congo wants to know, my latest couchsurfer who has been sharing my house with me, taking me out to the Kam Yin for a great Nasi Special Pork, drinks downtown in Cafe De Wildeman, watching the latest European soccer champion game "Bayern München contra Chelsea" together with Paul, the two of them nice and cosy together on my couch I guess...

Opa Jan and his two new grand daughters

                                            Amsterdam, 17 May 2012.

My Dad and his two new grand daughters.

I guess after twenty-five years of Pas De Contact he deserved this little bit of family business knowledge.

Pics of Little Charlotte

                                            Amsterdam, 16 May 2012.

I like to keep my blog stories uncensored, tough at times when I talk about world politicians or the clergy of dubious religions - let them feel the wrath of the common man or woman - funny when I blog about my extra-marital affairs - not that I was ever married but that ëxtra-marital affairs" things sounds soooo GOOD - and try to write in today's language, at times use the talk of the street, base it on my own personal experiences, actual  events, change the names of my friends when I happen to mention them which is probably more often as they like though they too follow my stories - or so my over-sized ego likes to believe anyway - sort of protect the guilty, you know what I mean...

Maybe another blog story about Thai culture and their female mind's lateral view of things, always fun to read about a Thai Hot Momma's unabashed opinions, especially so considering these street hookers I sort of hang out with whenever I visit the Land of Smiles are hopelessly undereducated though I once read somewhere that the empty mind speaks the truth...

But No, today I only want to show you the pics of our daughter Little Charlotte my ex sent to me by old fashioned postal way, informing me of her decision to return to her native good old England, leaving that sinking ship called Holland behind and all the rest of the financial wooed Euro zone and some last pics of our latest erotic encounter outcome nearly seven years ago, how times flies when you are having fun, nah...and Nada Mas.

Hope you enjoy!!!

Peace among the sexes

When I first saw this photo I felt like peace among the sexy had finally arrived.

My GATORS cap

                                        Amsterdam, 15 May 2012.

Five weeks back in Farang Land where the rain is a constant menage, especially so to a dedicated street seller like me, where stupid politicians piss on their own self importance - don't they do that all over the world, one might ask. - inatriculate media celebrities revel in their own enormous ego unabashed on TV talk shows  - as they probably do in any other country on Mother Earth - where soccer hooligans rule the streets after a match, never mind their team won or lost, lets get out and have some fun, right?

I miss the anarchic atmosphere of Bangkok, the friendly smiles of the locals, the good food available at thousands of fast cook stalls all over the Thai Kingdom at greatly reduced prices...

Even the heat and pollution, don't forget the inevitable corruption of dark brown clad police hassling my lady friends on the Khyber Pass Bench in Pattaya, are welcome after all the days of rain here in good old Mokum forcing me to stay indoors though the endless queue at my Plekkie at the Anne Frank House is where my would-be customers converge, day after day lining up to see the world famous Achterhuis, multi-hued umbrellas protecting tourist heads against the notorious unpredictable Dutch weather...

My GATORS cap, a gift from Cuban customer living in Fort Lauterdale, a favourite photo opportunity for any American visitor passing by.

Agata and her Double Entendre

                                      Amsterdam, 08 May 2012.

I feel like the world is utterly insane, a bit like the waste product of a God. Or maybe the Gods are amusing themselves making live difficult for us mere mortal human beings, fustrating my life as a semi-professional street seller with lots of rain, no way I can go to the Anne Frank House and make plenty of dough for my next trip, just watch TV and see how European politicians making a even bigger mess of my financial situation. economising is the big word in the holy Euro zone though they themselves still enjoy the high income status...

Reaching 50 years of age and seriously realising I am slowly but most definitely becoming an old fuck now with health problems creeping up to me rather sooner then later...

Maybe I should go back to freasking around with my jars of paint today, a good bottle of Red Wine, maybe a 6,50 Euro take-away from the Kam Yin, something like Khao Pat Gai, switch off my new big flatscreen TV and all the negativity it throws into my face, 239 Euros but all the world's misery comes free of charge, and return my attention to my more creative skills, paper and wooden boards filling them up with the naked beauties that swarm around inside my gray brain mass...

Maybe think about my latest couchsurfer, Agata from Poland who was always dry blowing her hair and putting up her make-up in the morning, telling me "putting up my make-up is like caressing mysel'", a Double Entendre I felt necessary to explain....language mistakes can sometimes be very amusing indeed!!!

Sofia from Taiwan

                                              Amsterdam, 05 May 2012.

This beauty lady is Sofia from Taiwan whom I met at the Anne Frank House last week.

Though our contact didn't exactly start with a kiss it still felt like love at first sight though I have to admit I am a hopeless romantic when the ladies are concerned, nothing new in that department if you have been following my blog for some time...

Anyway back to beautifull Sofia who ran by my little street shop on her way Buddha only knows where but with me calling after her "Hey where is this cute lady running off to?"...

I guess that did the trick with her back in the notoriously endless long queue outside Mokum's number one tourist attraction, eyeing me with obvious romantic interest in her Asian shiners...needless to say I invited her over showing off my sketchbook with this pic as a result and if it wasn't for the fact that I had this other beautifull lady, Agata from Poland, one of my couchsurfers, staying at my place I would have gladly invited her to spend some days at my chaotic house in Amsterdam West...

Thai monks on the Dutch Queensday

                                           Amsterdam, 02 May 2012.

I met these two friendly monks on Rosengracht here in my native Amsterdam on the Dutch Queensday when everybody is donned in orange clothes, orange, the tradional color of the Dutch royal house...

Queensday on the last day of April, the biggest party in Holland though when Holland wins an important soccer match you can be reasonably sure the street festivities can compete with those on the old queen her birthday - the present queen Beatrix never bothered to change the date to her own day of leaving the royal womb.

Considering their tradional orange wrap-arounds and everybody dressed in rediculous orange colored shirts, pants and even office suits with matching orange ties - can you believe it? - , half drunk on Heineken and playing the proverbial rowdy lagerlouds, I was lucky to spot them in the melee of the parting crowd, even managed to get their attention screaming Sawasdee Khap at them and being  heard by their Thai ears...

Khop Khun Khap for your time, my Thai monk friends, hope you enjoy the sketch.
