Painting a magpie

I remember seeing these birds from the window of the train on the way to the nearby town of Eindhoven in the south of Holland where I grew up, on the way to my grandparents who lived in a farm near the belgium border close to Eindhoven. Every weekend my dad would take me there and every weekend I was looking forward to the sight of these black\white colored birds busy with the
 ir antics oblivious to that small boy with his crayons trying so hard to capture them in his sketchbook...

Now so many years gone and being a grown man I still love seeing them when I walk in the city still admiring their antics and the colors in their feathers that look black and white but hide so many more colors if you just take the time to look...
