A long tima ago, in my much younger years than today, when I was still wild and unpredictable, drinking loads of cheap beer and smoking pot every day. I used to play chess with a friend on a regular base back at his place which he shared with Dave, a typical nutcase scottish dealer, a expensive place near the city's zoo...

Dave was known for his whiskey induced drinking binches and the madness that would ensue after.

During one of his whiskey drinking sessions he stormed out of the house smack in the middle of the night, climbed across the zoo's gate and stole a penguin that henceforth quiet happily ( or so I hoped ) spend his days swimming small circles in the bathtub and amuzing himself ( or was it herself? ) with Dave's red-haired dog Bello..

Whenever the doorbell rang Mister Penguin ( or was it Miss Penguin? ) knew it was us the friends, always carrying fish with us bought at the local fishshop or Albert Heyn supermarket, yes, happy penguin indeed...

However all crazy things come to en end with Dave getting arrested in a local bar in Barcelona, blind drunk on Whiskey and carrying 20.000 Extacy pills on his person..two years in a Spanish jails taught him the better of his crazy ways...

We, the friends had to bring the penguuin back to his mates at the zoo, pushing the mad bird through the bars of the gate with a sign around his head saying "I am an orphan, please adopt me"...

Believe it or not but it really happened, Mister Penguin ( or maybe Miss Penguin ) can testify to this crazy tale...
