Painting a humpback 🐋

It is long ago i cycled down te Baja California, more adventurous and still young in a very different world as we live in now...a brand new cycle named Toro and my one-person little tent, going up and down the mexican sierras, camping out at night surrounded by huge Sagauro cacti that looked like pure magic in the sparse light of the moon and stars. To me  it was like being on a different planets sitting in front of my tent drinking Modelo mexican cervezas after a long and sweaty day on the bike while i could hear the coyotes howling out in the darkness ...though i was unaware of the humpback whale immigration from Alaska down the california coast to the Baja in januari where they give birth, and yes, that was the time of my two month trip, so a nice bonus...I will never forget how these gentle giants where spy hopping out at sea while i cycled along the beaches...it was my first bicycle trip, many were to follow and a new job back in Amsterdam as a bicycle messenger ...i suppose after years of backpacking i had found a new way of travelling...
