Painting the wall of my apartment
I remember how my old artfriend, mister Peter Klashorst, Peter Klashorst - Wikipedia,, my he rest in artistic peace, used to paint the walls of his apartment here in Amsterdam and the walls of his hotelrooms back in Bangkok and Pattaya. Many where the nights in tropical Thailand we painted well into the night, Meakong Whiskey and thai beers, cold and condensed to the touch, the floor littered with wrappers of thai food brought along by the many Thai girls visiting his hotel room...always on the phone while we were busy, busy, busy producing whorthless art on the walls of a third world hotel room...i always wondered how he was gonna explain that weird shit to the hotel management ...i seem to remember he often walked out with his toothbrush in the back pocked of his paint stained jeans, his passport, credit cards, bankpass and plane ticked stashed away inside his sweat soaked shirt leaving all his belongings behind, another hotel with as yet unpainted walls on his mind...may he smile down on me from whereever he is residing now, no doubt still painting absolutely worthless crap as he often called it himself...
