Looking down at the notorious Krung Thep traffic jam on Silom Road but really quite comfortable in the skytrain just having left Sala Daeng Sation, comfortable and cool, dry from the incessant rains that pester the Thai capital and countrside alike at this time of year, I can't but wonder how the Thais keep this ecomomic setback on their otherwise brillant organisational talents keep going on, continual madness in the chaotic Bangkok streets that is costing a pretty penny or maybe Sarang, causing clogged-up lungs by the sackfull and gouvernment subsidized gas a-plenty....though rumuor has it influential businessmen with a strong veto in the capital's city planning department use the traffic jam excuse to the loving wife number one for frequent visits to their Mia Noi, who can argue against another hour in this Ting Tong bumber to bumber non-moving excistence after all...
Comfortable and cool with my forty THB skytrain ticket and dry from the incessant Bangkok Fontok Mak Mak, on the way to the Shangri-la Hotel, not to meet my Tilak Jai Nong who used to reside there looking after Per, her Norwegian sugar daddy of choice but long since deceased and leaving his much younger Asian lovergirl and caretaker facing judicinal shit throwing sessions with the Viking Hubby's loving relatives who resent a Thai ho*ker from Pattaya's Beach Road running off with some well deserved Kroener (my words not theirs, of that you can be certain dear reader of this blog)....situations gone and over with, goodbye and Adios, Doei Doei and maybe see you one day in your Thai restaurant up there in that freezing Viking kingdom's capital that is called, if I remember correctly, Oslo...
Still, there is a certain attraction to old times in this asaian capital and maybe by taking the ferry from the Shangri-la pier along an overfull Chao Phraya River to Khao Sarn Road some old memories will resurface...
Amsterdam is but half a day flying away and old times in King Bhumipol's Asian realm coming to my Farang grey brain cells before my imminient departure might well be wellcome...
