Painting owls, one of my faourite animals to draw and paint, they just seem to have the right modelling looks and unlike most other animals seems quite happy to sit around for hours almost motionless...when I still worked at the children's petting zoo here in Westerpark the manager, Maarten Hertzberger thought me how to walk around with them, painting and drawing them I taught myself...also their paintings sell pretty good
