Amsterdam, the city that has been my domicile and home away from home for nearly twenty-six years now, always returning to that city at the River Amstel, mostly with a heavy backpack full with laundry and empty pockets, sometimes hiding in the toilet of the train from Schiphol Airport to the city centre.
