Back on the road to nowhere
Back on that famous road to nowhere, back to Fueteventura this afternoon, another week of sun, good food, beachlife,nice walks and just relaxing in the sun while the rest of Amsterdam is awaiting another dreaded coldfront...
in my mind I am still the intrepid backpacker of my younger years, always unsure where my next destination would be, chicken busses in third world countries, dirty hostal beds invested with lice, shit i even slept in prostitute rife Casas de Putas Callejeras where the next door local lady would knock on my door in the middle of the night asking me if i would be intrested in the adult's only game...
now in the autumn of my life, fast approaching the winter of my existence, i have upgraded my holidays, no more senseless moving around with a wornout backpack filled with dirty underwear and smelly socks, crumply sketchbooks and leaking pens, the Lonely Planet travel guide my only pal and Holy Bible...no way, no more.
Upclass hotels, daily room service, good food and daily walks are the norm these days...
